Sunny is the owner and founder of Hooprama, LLC, HoopingForHope.org and Nashville's premier hoop troupe, the Hooprama HoopStars. Originally from Texas, she spent time in Boston, and then moved to Nashville in 1998. She currently teaches all levels of the Hooprama Fitness series and has many private clients that she teaches on a regular basis. Sunny has taught hundreds of women, all different ages, sizes and abilities. Her favorites are the ones who think they can't, don't remember how, or never could... but always end up hooping in the end! [by the way, 85% of our students come to us saying they can't hoop and they all end up hooping!]

"For me hula hoop class is not about 'learning to hoop' , that is just the by-product. My classes are about finding that little something special in you that you might have forgotten about, your own personal Boom Boom... your smile... your spirit... and maybe even that little voice inside your head that says "YES, YOU CAN!"

In April 2008, Sunny created Hooping for Hope and recruited 9 hoop students to hoop the Music City Half Marathon on behalf of the program with her. Inspired by that adventure, she took quite a few more steps and hooped 45 of the 60 miles in the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk in DC.
