ecoChic :: GETTING READY!
Saying that I am becoming really excited about the upcoming ecoChic Swap this weekend is a serious understatement. Now, I do realize that a large part of my excitement is quite simply because I have not purchased ANY new clothing since 2008 <sigh> and I am going on 5 months of some serious new clothing, store browsing withdrawal! Do you know how hard it is to walk through a store and not be able to touch? I feel like I am 5 and in a glass figurine store!
Anyway, getting ready for the this 2nd ecoChic swap is even more fun than getting ready for the first one, especially because we have a gorgeous new studio to showcase the event in! Not to mention, my experience with the last swap definitely prepared me for how to do things differently this time. I have an amazing team of supportive women to assist and we are ready to fun this like a fine-oiled machine!
We have had over 30 people pre-register already and we extended the number of items to 15 so we are going to have tons of great stuff! I am amazed and thankful for all the friends who have stepped up offering to volunteer or to provide a door prize for the cause. Now for some of the items that have come in and grabbed my eye... a gorgeous green beaded necklace, a burgandy clutch that looks vintage, a green silk dress with white polka dots, a basic black dress that is fitted with a cool neckline.
